About me
My name is Kenyan Alexander and I’m a filmmaker, photographer, and visual storyteller with over a decade of experience creating cinematic imagery. My work lives at the intersection of travel, culture, and human connection—whether I’m directing a film, capturing editorial portraits, or documenting moments across new landscapes.
My creative perspective was shaped through my background in fine art, where I studied studio art at Florida State University. That foundation continues to influence how I approach filmmaking and photography today, with a strong focus on composition, mood, and visual storytelling.
Over the years I’ve worked on music videos, short films, editorial photography, corporate and independent documentary projects. I’m especially drawn to stories that feel immersive and honest—moments that allow people to experience a place, a person, or a feeling through the frame.
At the heart of my work is a simple goal: to create imagery that feels timeless, intentional, and emotionally real.
